New Monastic Building
KTC Minneapolis has outgrown our current building, both in function and in footprint. We need to be able to support resident practitioners, staff, and retreatants. A second, monastic building close to our current location is in the initial planning stages. Any support you can offer would be welcome.
Sponsor a Thangka
We are adding three new thangkas to the shrine room. We will commission the master Thangka painter, who painted the White Tara Thangka already hanging in our shrine room, to complete the following Thangkas: Amitabha, Chenrezig, and Green Tara. Each piece will be of “shrine room quality, the highest quality, and will be completed with the finest brocade. They are custom made in Dharamsala and take several weeks to finish. One Thangka can be sponsored for $1000. A brass dedication tag can be displayed next to the Thangka at your request. Sponsor a Puja Table
Constructed and finished by master Tibetan painter Thinley Chojor, KTC Minneapolis currently requires six new double pecha tables and the continuous zabutons that go behind them for the shrine room. One table including its share of the zabuton can be sponsored for $500. A brass dedication tag mounted on the back of the table can be included at your request. If you would like to sponsor a table and zabuton, or part of one, please contact us.
Help hanging wall paper
We need experienced helpers to hang wall paper in the stairway to the second floor and the upstairs hallway. If you can help with this project, please contact us.
