We invite you to participate with financial, as well as spiritual, emotional, and intellectual resources. Please let us know if you wish to sponsor someone at the center, of if you or someone you know can help us to find business sponsors who understand, value, and would be willing to help support the work we do. As the Tibetan culture is slowly extinguished in its native land, the high meditations of the Tibetan yogis are nearing extinction. The only way these incredible meditations can be saved is by practitioners bringing them to fruition. We have a small window of opportunity left to do that. As meditators advance through proven, age-old series of practices an increasing dedication of their resources and energy is required to take them to the next step, and the next step. As was the case in Tibet, a complete cultural environment of devoted support has to spring up around them to support this activity. Why are these practices important? "Awakening" is what comes about as a result of doing Tibetan meditations. Wisdom and compassion area the pure heart of the awakening that manifests from daily Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice. Wisdom and compassion do not exist in their pure, selfless manifestation outside of the awakened mind. The three are one--wisdom and compassion and awakening. Right now what does the human condition need more than wisdom and compassion and awakening? With your support KTC Minneapolis can grow from the seed that has been planted. We can hope to cultivate the benefits of Tibetan meditations within our community.
