These retreats are for serious practitioners who wish to be undisturbed for at least 24 hours of meditation and practice. At left is Yamantaka, the thangka in the retreat room. Below to the right is a middle section from the forest painting in the retreat room. Click each to enlarge.

The retreat package costs $67 per day for KTC Sangha members & Patrons and this includes a preretreat interview with KTC's Resident Lama Pamela Holtum. The cost is $95 per day for non-members and does not include an interview. All retreats include:

These retreats are an exceptional way to break from our busy Western lifestyles and devote some concentrated time to developing higher consciousness. Typical retreats include a series of "thuns" (meditation sessions) that consist of meditation, chanting, mantra recitation, prostrations and reading. And you will be sure to get a good night's sleep as well. All of your needs are taken care of during this precious time of retreat, so do give some thought to using this facility on a regular basis.

If you are not a member or patron, we do request that you fill out a retreat application. The application can be obtained by contacting [karma at ktcminneapolis dot org]. An introduction by a current KTC member or patron is encouraged, but not absolutely required.

Sangha members and Patrons should also email [karma at ktcminneapolis dot org] to schedule retreat time.
