Multiplying & Auspicious Practice Days

Tibetan Buddhism uses a calendar based on the lunar cycle. Different times of the lunar cycle, or lunar days, are considered auspicious for certain types of practice. They are opportunities to be aware of, and participate in, focused and subtle forms of energy. Doing a compatible practice on a day that is auspicious for it multiplies the affect of your practice many, many thousand times - usually at least 100,000 times. Ven Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche has said doing a particular practice on a day that is auspicious for it also provides the practitioner with a great opportunity to observe one's mind.

To see the multiplying & auspicious practice days visit our calendar at KTC Calendar. We are posting usually 13 of them each month, in the 8am time slot.

"May all be auspicious and may all beings benefit."
